When used as directed, the Akua Sonic Cleaner is safe for most solid metals including gold, silver, rose gold, platinum, gold filled, and gold vermeil jewelry.
As with any cleaning method, care should be taken with delicate pieces. Only clean pieces that can be submerged in water and do not have loose stones, glued components, or soft or porous gemstones such as opal, amber, or onyx. Lower quality plated or costume jewelry may be more delicate. These pieces can fade with regular wear, and repeated exposure to water and ultrasonic cleaning may accelerate this over time.

My lovely friend bought me this as a gift after I got engaged. It has been fabulous to give my ring a good clean every now and then and get it shinning and sparkly again. We noticed that the middle portion of the diamond was dull because of the accumulation of debris under its surface. It’s difficult to clean because of its flatness. We used the long-cycle of Akuasonic 3x and it’s nice and shiny again. I highly recommend this cleaner. Thank you!

I was looking for a Sonic jewelry cleaning machine and was impressed by the size and great reviews. I am very happy with this purchase; my rings are sparkling.
I ordered it as the reviews seemed to be pretty good and honest. I’ve used it once as I just received it and it is easy to use and my jewelry came out shining. Quick and easy. Years ago a jeweler told me to use Dawn green for cleaning diamonds and I used a little bit of Dawn green in it and it looked great. In the past I used a pan with boiled water and Dawn green but this is so much easier and less hassle. I’m glad I bought it. Hopefully it will keep working just as it did the first time. After comparing products it was clear to me that this one seemed worth the money as some of the cheaper models out there all need special chemicals and this one can be used with dish soap.
